Installation

Prior to installation it is normal to have a site survey that enables us to make sure everything is in order and that we can proceed with out any problems or delays on the day of installation.

With older Properties/Chimneys we might need to test and sweep the chimney, we have our own experienced Chimney Sweep to carry out this procedure.

But you can imagine if we have to remove an existing Fireplace and Chimney sweep it can create quiet a lot of dust and soot, so we need your assistant in preparing the room prior to the arrival of our installation team.

Our Surveyor will advise you on how to prepare the room but we would like to advise you of some of the things to expect.

It is necessary for you to remove any fragile items and cover your TV and other electrical items with any ‘Old’ covers you might have and to give us as much un hindered space as possible moving furniture to the side of the room.

We will bring our own Dust sheets to doubly make sure that everything is well covered.

We have installed Thousands of Fireplaces with out incident so please don’t worry un necessary because with the right preparation we are sure that you will be completely satisfied with our service.

Rugs and carpets will need to be rolled back and at times we would need to remove skirting boards but you must appreciate that we are not skilled carpenters so it is highly unlikely we will replace the afterwards.
